Reform
Amplify our annual holiday giveback tradition
Position REFORM Alliance as the leading criminal justice reform organization to impact local communities and system-impacted families. In a combined approach, our goal was to amplify REFORM’s work across a broad landscape of media verticals that reflect the multi-pronged nature of our event – from the incorporation of hip hop artists, sports teams, influencers alongside our suite of social good advocates and executives.
Berk was tasked with amplifying REFORM Alliance’s annual tradition of a holiday giveback with the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets benefitting the children of families negatively impacted by an unjust probation system. REFORM brought together co-founders Michael Rubin and Meek Mill, CEO Robert Rooks together with talent such as former 76er World B. Free, Lil Baby, Charli and Dixie D’Amelio to treat guests with a VIP experience. Kids were surprised with custom uniforms, gifted packages of Fanatics gear, courtside and VIP suite access to 76ers and Brooklyn Nets home games.
Through a combined approach of select media invites and interviews conducted on site, we secured interviews with key executives and members both pre and post-event in ESPN’s UNDFTD, Billboard, NBC Philly, and a special CBS This Morning segment, in addition to coordinating interviews and content capture on –site.
Overall coverage accumulated in top-tier national news, entertainment, music, sports and politics such as Daily Mail, Sports Illustrated, ABC News, Associated Press, Page Six, COMPLEX, and more.
