Leveraging a Legacy to Launch a One-of-a-Kind Restaurant
Caesars Entertainment has long been known for its celebrity partnerships and launched the Las Vegas celebrity chef craze in 1992 when they opened Wolfgang Puck’s Spago. With that in mind, Caesars knew that the opening of The Bedford by Martha Stewart, the first ever restaurant concept created by the famous businesswoman, writer, and television personality, needed to make a splash bigger than ever. With surrounding competition only getting fiercer in Las Vegas, we needed to leverage the Empire’s robust portfolio to tell the greater story of Caesars Entertainment’s celebrity dining concepts.
To celebrate the opening of The Bedford by Martha Stewart, the team organized and executed a press trip on the theme of ‘Gourmet All Day,’ tied directly to the grand opening of the Bedford while simultaneously showcasing all the gourmet and celebrity-driven dining options offered within the Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas portfolio. Berk secured 11 journalists to participate in the trip, all of whom produced exclusive “first look” features on The Bedford in respective outlets like Rolling Stone, Forbes, Yahoo! DEGLAZED, Delish, and more. Participants also utilized the press trip opportunity to immerse themselves in all that Caesars has to offer and produced additional coverage following the trip.
